Corrupt Maduro props up regime with Venezuelans’ gold

Nicolás Maduro continues to plunder Venezuela’s gold reserves, threatening to leave the country bankrupt, while Juan Guaidó works to rebuild the nation.

Maduro’s corrupt regime has cost Venezuelans millions of dollars by selling off Venezuelan banks’ gold reserves. And according to a Venezuelan government official who spoke with Reuters, at the current rate Maduro will deplete the nation’s reserve by the end of the year.
