ایالات متحده واکسن های کووید-۱۹ را به سراسر جهان ارسال می کند- ژوئیه ۲۰۲۱

ایالات متحده برای اهدای واکسن های کووید-۱۹ و پایان دادن به همه گیری با شرکای بین المللی خود همکاری می کند.

آمریکا از طریق اقدامات زیر از مبارزه جهانی علیه کووید-۱۹ پشتیبانی می کند:

• اهدای ۸۰ میلیون دوز واکسن های خود به سایر کشورها.
• خریداری۵۰۰ میلیون دوز واکسن برای اهدا به تقریبا ۱۰۰ کشور در حال توسعه.
• اهدای ۲ میلیارد دلار به کوواکس (COVAX)، ابتکار جهانی برای توزیع عادلانه واکسن های ایمن و موثر کووید-۱۹ در سراسر جهان.
• ارائه داروها، تجهیزات و ملزومات پزشکی حیاتی، و همچنین کمک های دیگر به کشورها در بازسازی اقتصاد، رفع کمبود مواد غذایی و تقویت امنیت بهداشتی.

پرزیدنت بایدن در بیانیه ای در ۳ ژوئن گفت: “ایالات متحده در مبارزه مشترک ما با این ویروس زرادخانه واکسن برای جهان خواهد بود. ما همچنان به نهایت تلاش خود برای ساختن جهانی امن تر و ایمن تر در مقابل تهدید بیماری های عفونی ادامه خواهیم داد.”
