Growing up a Christian in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dabrina Bet-Tamraz witnessed the arrest, torture and even murder of Christian pastors. Her whole family was arrested because of their religious beliefs. “We are just one example of many,” says Bet-Tamraz.
She was among the survivors of religious persecution featured during the U.S. Department of State’s 2019 Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom. Learn more about her story in the video above.
