The Reverend Mario Félix Lleonart Barroso served as a Baptist minister in Cuba. Living there, he faced regular harassment and detention from Cuban authorities.
“In Cuba, freedoms are ridden roughshod over by the communist system,” he says in an interview with the State Department documenting religious persecution in Cuba.
