
Chloe Kim, a first-generation Korean American, started snowboarding when she was 4 years old. Now 17, she is a 2018 Olympic gold medal winner. Earlier, the native Californian distinguished herself in successive Winter X Games and was the first American woman to win gold for snowboarding in the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. Kim joined the USA women’s snowboarding team for the first time in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
