The effects of climate change are felt everywhere, and it’s time for a global solution, says Secretary of State John Kerry.

The United States is joining the world community in Paris on November 30 for the United Nations conference on climate change, also known as COP21. By setting ambitious goals, Kerry says, the world can transition to a clean energy economy and help those most at risk.

“The challenge that we face may be immense, but — and I cannot emphasize this point enough — it is not insurmountable.”
