The secretary stopped in Brussels on May 13 on his way to Sochi, Russia, and met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and other officials.
Brian Hook, U.S. special representative for Iran, who is also on the trip, said, “We know that Europe shares our concerns about stability in the Gulf and in the Middle East.”
