U.S. promotes security with Central American partners

Admiral Craig S. Faller, commander of U.S. Southern Command, visited Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador from January 21 to 25 and met with the leaders of those nations to highlight the importance of partnerships in combating illicit trafficking and other security threats in Central America.

The United States also supports humanitarian and disaster-relief efforts in the region.
