Hostage taking has been a constant and contemptible feature of the Iranian regime.

After Islamic fundamentalists overthrew Iran’s government in 1979, radicals stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days.

Former hostage Rocky Sickmann marked the days listening to the ebb and flow of traffic through broken windows. Faith in God, family and country helped Paul Needham endure.
