Listening to survivors, volunteering with human rights groups and researching what products are made with forced labor (PDF, 7MB) are just some of the ways people can help stop abuses, State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Jalina Porter says.
“There is power in your actions and in your voice,” she adds. “You have the ability to create positive change and to help stop human rights abuses.”
